Correlations finder

The correlation finder is a highly interactive tool that allows to build your own bubble chart, analysing patterns and correlations among selected Indicators of the dataset. You can select different indicators for the X, Y and the third variable (the bubble). Among these indicators you have for example: ICT skills, Employment in Agriculture, Gender Gap in Mobile ownership, Research and Development Expenditure. You can immediately visualize your customized bubble chart. For example, you can explore if there is any correlation between the level of ICT skills of a country, its agricultural employment and the agricultural value added. This can tell us the importance of the agricultural sector in the country. For instance, by selecting as third variable “Research and Development Expenditure,” we could examine whether agricultural oriented countries are also countries where Innovations - measured by research and development spending - are more prominent. This builder tool allows you to select one country (for example, Argentina) or several, as well as one year or all the years available (from 2015 to 2021). In the menu below, you can select an indicator for each variable (X, Y, Bubble size). Choose different indicators to ensure meaningful analysis.
